What is stone paper?

Instead of wood pulp, the pages of the Pininfarina Stone Paper notebook are made from stone waste from quarries, produced without water or harsh chemicals. The result is a bright, very smooth sheet that resists water and is hard to tear.

Design by Pininfarina

Pininfarina Segno is the writing brand of Pininfarina, the Italian design house famous for its car designs. The Pininfarina Stone Paper notebook carries that clean, understated style in a black soft-touch cover with an elastic band to keep it closed.

Writing on stone paper

Ballpoints, pencils and rollerballs glide over the silky surface of the Pininfarina Stone Paper notebook. Ink sits on top of stone paper rather than soaking in, so fountain pen ink takes a little longer to dry.
